Voice Over Testimonials

Jennifer Rucker

To whom it may concern,

My name is Jennifer Rucker, theatre teacher at Kingman High School, and I write this testimonial on behalf of Malachi Ayers, a student whom I have had the pleasure of working with in class, club, and Community Theatre.
Malachi is an accomplished actor and mixing engineer, not to mention an extremely dedicated and intelligent person. Some of the projects I have worked with Malachi on include the following
— Original music/historical parody songs
— Little Shop of Horrors, where Malachi played both the roles of Orin (the Dentist) and Audrey II (the voice of the plant). *In addition, he also did mixing to extend vocal backing tracks for our live production of Little Shop of Horrors.
— Beauty and the Beast, where he played the role of Maurice
— And, finally, The Ugliest Man in the World, where Malachi voiced lines for Paul, the main character, recorded and mixed all audio for the radio play, and acted as a Foley Artist, sourcing his own sound effects and adding them where appropriate to the show.

Malachi is one of the most talented and driven individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He connects well with his characters, takes direction well, collaborates effectively with others, is always willing to learn new things, volunteers for additional work, does not complain and brings high energy to his roles. He also demonstrates excellent vocal control and the unique tenor of his voice lends itself well to a variety of roles. He would be an asset to any program or company. - Jenny Rucker
