It also came very naturally for me.
As an Editor you're hyper aware of timing & tone, and you Direct LOTS of VO Talent/Sessions.
So, excellent training!
The rest of my time - I Write, Shoot, Direct, Photograph & Paint.

I started doing voice overs as a commercial film Editor.
I've always done my own scratch tracks, so timing and tone are a huge asset of mine, as well as my voice.
A slight description of my voice is:
American-California-New Orleans -
Warm, Deep, Sarcastic, Dry, Cool, or Regular guy voice.
I can do any style of voice, but I'm very good at both the dry and the Movie trailer voice.
I've done Voice-overs for multiple National TV commercials, network TV, and radio.
