Workplace ergonomics Level one E learning course development. The science of designing the workplace keeping in mind the capabilities and limitations of the associates. Poor work side design leads to tiredness, frustrated and distressed workers. This rarely leads to the most productive worker. More likely it leads to a painful and costly injury, lower productivity and poor product quality. Having a preventative ergonomic evaluation is cost and time effective and is primarily used for employees who are not experiencing physical discomfort. More time is necessary for a comprehensive ergonomic evaluation for providing an in depth work area assessment for employees that have indicated that they are experiencing work related physical discomfort.
