Hokkaido is the northernmost of Japan's four main islands. Located on the edge of the sea of Japan. It is known for its natural stunning beauty and offers a unique blend of cultures. One of the most popular attractions in Hokkaido is its natural scenery. From breathtaking mountains to lush forests and sweeping valleys, explore the sights of one of the world's most beautiful islands, including the majestic mountain goat, the active volcanoes of chic Otsu toya National Park, the tranquil lake Akane and the unspoiled wilderness of the deceased Susan National Park. The cuisine of Hokkaido is also a must try from seafood to beef. There are plenty of delicious dishes to explore in the region. The regional specialty is called Jagga butter, a butter based dish served with potatoes, onions and other vegetables. Hokkaido is also home to a vibrant and unique culture, experience the culture of the indigenous. I knew people who lived in Hokkaido since the 9th century and still practice the traditional art of music, dance and wooden bone carving.
