There are 4.8 Children under five years old suffering from malnutrition in Latin America, a crisis that affects the physical and intellectual development of boys and girls, especially in the poorest and most isolated communities. As the leading brand of one of the most nutritious foods Quaker decided to use all of its knowledge to help change the lives of these Children. After two years of research we created a food supplement in the form of a cookie that's rich and notes and other essential nutrients. With this cookie, The Quacker crease program was created. The program was launched in Guatemala and took the food supplement to dozens of communities in partnership with care. But even more than nutrition, our goal was to increase the Children's self esteem based on the ethnic and cultural references. We created a campaign in which the Children finally found themselves represented with the story of a typical local girl who faced the challenge of malnutrition. It's a different kind of fairy tale where the protagonist was forced to climb stairs her entire life, touched by the initiative and by the campaign, the local authorities, media and people in general helps spread the movement on social networks Today. The program that started in Guatemala has made its way to Mexico helping more than 20,000 Children. It is scheduled to expand to Brazil and Chile in the next few years. Reaching 50 million people by 2031 step at a time. And it all started with a delicious oatmeal cookie
