Married to my husband, Jerry, since 2014, mom with 2 kids at home and one in heaven. PTSD makes working with the public difficult, so I'm seeking voice over work to help supplement income while I build a small, at-home business I call Robust Elegance. Offering thoughtful, custom gifts for young and old alike. I would be a good candidate for voice work since I lettered in Speech in high school, took third in a national speech competition, job shadowed at a local radio station near my hometown when I was a teenager, when aspired to become a broadcast journalist upon finishing Ball State's TComm program, where I also tutored linguistic's majors as a freshman. Life had other plans for me, and finally I feel I can give this old passion it's due diligence. Voice is still pretty animated, my toddler keeps me well practiced in storytelling and all the learning how to talk she's been up to lately. My natural demeanor is laid back, often day-dreamy, I sometimes offend my husband because I can get slightly loud and long-winded, when I get passionate about a topic. I've always been a book lover, I love everything from audio-biographies, to self help books; right now, I'm listening to Girl, Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis. I truly admire everything about her as an entrepreneur, a wife and a mom; as well as the other admirable geniuses of the world: lyricists/rappers. I would love to read for you!!
