Baja designs has been in the business of building the world's best performance off road lighting for over 25 years from the enthusiasts on back country trails to helping make Baja champions. We believe in the science behind lighting because the needs of every off Roader are different and certain driving styles vary. We've created a lighting zone system that helps you to mix and match the right products with the right lenses in the right places to achieve the absolute best results. We believe it's not just about having the brightest lights but using the right lights in the right way. Everything changes in the darkness and quality lighting can make you safer or give you that competitive edge. So when building a lighting package, it's important to understand each zone, the right intensity of lighting and lens type to use looking at the zone chart, let's start with the lowest numbered zones and work our way up. Our three primary zones are near field, midfield and distance because baja designs lights our user serviceable, you can configure any light for any specific scenario. Zone one is geared towards dust and fog, either from inclement weather or trail conditions. The wide cornering pattern fits this role nicely as it spreads light horizontally for a wider field of view. Zone two is the cornering zone. This zone is tailored to your peripheral vision are fluted lenses, disperse light up to 45° to illuminate objects or dangers you might not otherwise see on the trail. Zone three Now we're using a bit more of the skinny pedal because you should only drive as fast as you can see, we need to build light in the midfield, the driving combo lens delivers even and wide light. It does this with a combination of a smooth and wide lens and spot elements all in one unit Zone four. So you want to go fast. Let's go fast. Welcome to the distance zone because driving at speed requires a delicate balance of observation and reaction. It becomes critical to understand the balance of light intensity as we bring in 1/4 zone to our primary trifecta of lighting zone five even faster. Let's go really fast. Regardless if you're an enthusiast having fun or a trophy truck aiming to take home another baja win, we're now talking 90 to 120 MPH using a specialty dome Lys led our racer edition series of lights become a valuable way to throw a high intensity beam even further down the road. This allows you to pin the gas now that you can properly see what you're barreling towards faster than that. Really. Okay, well, in just such occasions, we've designed lights that reach out further than anything else available to consumers, lasers. You heard that right? This level of tightly collected illumination is the same kind of patterns used by fast moving race vehicles and search and rescue teams to spot people or places at great distances. These incredibly powerful and effective lights throw illumination thousands of feet in an extremely tight pattern. Zone six, let's slow it back down and talk about what's under your vehicle. This is the rock light zone. Whether you need lights to navigate over technical terrain provide light while doing an underbelly trail repair or ambient lighting at camp, these lights provide excellent illumination for you, your spotter or anyone else working around your vehicle. Up to this point, we focused on lighting going in a forward direction of travel. But let's talk about zone seven. This is the cargo lighting zone and it encompasses the general work zone around your vehicle when you need to make a planned or unplanned stop off road Being seen is just as critical as seeing this is the reverse or dust light zone zone eight any and every driver can benefit from seeing what's behind them, whether that be reversing on a tight trail or backing up out of your driveway. A dust light is a critical element of safety at baja designs. We believe lighting isn't simply about who can throw out the most raw lumens through years of design testing experience and repeated racing winds. We build the right combination of lights for the requirements of demanding drivers.
