The next step is to understand what we mean by S. O u l s o u l is an acronym for stewardship, ownership and legacy. The central idea is that stewardship leads toa ownership, and ownership ultimately leads toa legacy. So what is stewardship? Stewardship is about getting the highest and best use out of your limited resource is it is about maximizing your household cash flow because without cash flow, there's no savings, no assets, no investments and no wealth to pass on. It's also about using your gifts and abilities to generate a significant return on your limited resource is whoever can be trusted with Little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with little will be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own? The Scripture above from Luke, Chapter sixteen, Verse ten through twelve, N. I. V is worth reflecting on because we can easily become so focused on storing up treasures in heaven that we lose sight of managing the treasures we have in this life, it's easy to forget that one. What we do with what we have today affects the treasures were going toe have in the hereafter to how we manage other people's property today ultimately will determine how much property we get of our own and three, how we manage our own property or determine if we get to keep it. This is what we mean when we say stewardship leads toa ownership. Now, while we often instinctively understand the idea of ownership, what I'm talking about is outright ownership or full ownership. This means you are the only person who has a claim on your assets. That's what people mean when they say they own something free and clear. It means free and clear off any outside claim. So full ownership requires the elimination of all claims to your assets, which in turn maximizes the amount of cash flow available to you
