Hi, I'm Stephanie Ciccarelli, co-founder of In this video, I'll walk you through how to post a job with tips that will help you get the best possible responses.

The more information and creative direction you provide to the talent, the more defined your needs become and the better your responses will be.

Before you can post a job, you'll need to sign up for a free client account. There are links to do this on any page of the website.

Once you have an account, you can post a job. You'll see a form just like this. The form asks for details that will define your needs and also determine which talent are invited to audition.

First off, you'll need to give your project a name. This name is associated with the posting, will be seen by the talent and should describe what you're working on.

You will then pick a category that best represents your needs. There are 14 categories to choose from and your project will fall into one of these areas such as radio, telephone, audiobooks, and so on.

You'll see a field called "Work Description." This is your opportunity to set the tone, share artistic direction and also any particular needs you may have.

Clearly communicating what you want is very important. If there's any one thing that contributes greatly to how the voice over will sound, this is it.

If your script is shorter, you can paste it into this field. You can also upload your script or other supporting materials for the project. For instance, if you are working on a cartoon, you might want to upload an image of the character so that talent can study it and create a voice for the character based upon how it looks.

If you know what file format you need your audio in, specify it here. For certain kinds of jobs, especially anything to do with telephone systems, file format is crucial. If you don't know what file format you need, ask your client or other team members who may know the file format requirement for the voice over recording.

Toward the end, pick from menus for Language, Gender, Age range, Union affiliations and artistic direction. There are over 100 languages represented at and professionals are standing by to meet your needs. If you need any help with direction, you can select a couple of tags to help describe what you are looking for from a list of adjectives.

Identifying your Budget and Response deadline are the last steps before your job posting reaches completion.

Take a look over your job posting and once you're happy with how it looks, click on the "Post Your Job" button. If you're not ready to post your job but want to save it for later, you can choose to save the posting as a draft.

Once your job is approved, qualified talent will be invited to respond. Most people receive responses within less than an hour from the time that their job posting was approved.
