whats stopping a client from using my audition?

Hi! I've seen that for some auditions you have to read a long script - pretty much the length of what the actual job is. What's to stop a client from just using someone's audition for the job and not paying at all?

Thanks

Don't record the entire script for an audition- you only need to do a short portion of it for the client to get an idea of if they want to hire you or not.

And if the script itself is relatively short, then you may want to consider watermarking the file so that it can't be used without payment.
