Job Description

Responsibilities
1. Represent Voices.com when working with potential customers by providing accurate explanations on services offered.
2. Contacts sales prospects and other accounts as assigned.
3. Establishes rapport and maintains contact with current and potential customers.
4. Promote the sale of Voices.com services by presenting key features and benefits to customers during online demonstrations of the Voices.com service and by motivating the customer to buy and use our service.
5. Create and update customer records by entering data into a web-based customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure accurate billing and access to data for proper management within the Voices.com system.
Required Skills
๏ Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
๏ Follow up with sales leads and referrals.
๏ Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
๏ Minimum of one year in an entry-level sales, marketing or communications position.
๏ High level customer service skills.
๏ Strong computer skills with typing speeds of of 40 – 50 wpm.
๏ Exceptional communication skills, especially over the phone.
๏ Dependable, reliable, ambitious and driven.
๏ Familiarity and experience working within a call-centre environment.
๏ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Job Description
The Book Publicist is a full-time, paid 10-week internship opportunity with Voices.com.
Your main function as the Book Publicist is to get an author’s writing noticed and to create “buzz” for the book. Voice Acting For Dummies, co-authored by Voices.com founders Stephanie and David Ciccarelli, was released in late January 2013 by Wiley. Book publicists write press releases and arrange interviews. They also schedule authors’ appearances, book signings and readings, and they develop relationships with media contacts to promote the authors they represent.
The Book Publicist will work with the Chief Marketing Officer and co-author of Voice Acting For Dummies, Sales and Marketing Director, and Social Media Manager to get as much publicity as possible and play a pivotal role in the sales process helping to move Voices.com’s inventory of books. You will utilize your passion for public relations and sales to create new opportunities resulting in the promotion of the Voice Acting For Dummies book and its authors, Stephanie and David Ciccarelli.
Responsibilities
The Book Publicist intern has many responsibilities, some of which include introducing related entities to Voices.com for the purpose of awareness and sending a copy of Voice Acting For Dummies to the appropriate individuals at broadcasting and acting schools, local media and trade publications in efforts to gain more publicity for the book and its authors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Book Publicist role encompasses, but is certainly not limited to, the following responsibilities:
● Responsible for implementing original and compelling publicity plans for Voice Acting For Dummies through media campaigns, industry, and author events
● Create press releases, pitch letters, promotional materials and media lists with a goal of securing national, regional, and local media in print, broadcast, and select online outlets
● Orchestrate and oversee local author appearances
● Interest in and preferably experience working with educational books (Wiley’s famous “For Dummies” book series)
● Work with editorial, sales and online marketing to create a cohesive publicity effort for each title
● Strengthen and develop media and bookstore contacts in addition to maintaining relationships with authors
Goals include booking:
● Speaking engagements
● Interviews on broadcast radio and television (by phoning producers of programs)
● Features in newspapers and magazines
● Book signings (book stores)
● Lectures (libraries, schools, community clubs ~ for instance, Toastmasters)
● Opportunities to donate (special cases) or sell copies of the book at a discount to schools
Required Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

The Search Marketing Specialist is a full-time, paid 10-week internship opportunity with Voices.com.
As the Search Marketing Specialist, your main objective is to exhibit strong leadership and a drive towards forward-thinking on web and e-marketing initiatives such as SEM and SEO.
YOUR TEAM
The Search Marketing Specialist will work with the Chief Marketing Officer, Sales and Marketing Director, Social Media Manager and Web Development Team to implement search strategies and track the effectiveness of new and existing campaigns. You will utilize your passion for technology and entrepreneurial spirit to ensure the online marketing success of Voices.com.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, reporting and improving the company’s overall search engine performance for organic search engine marketing campaigns. The Search Marketing Specialist role encompasses, but is certainly not limited to, the following responsibilities:
● Plan and execute SEO programs through keyword search planning, optimization, and ROI analysis for clicks, conversations, qualified leads and sales
● Monitor competitive best practices, keep up with industry trends and introduce new ideas for improving performance
● Develop new partnerships with other websites, as necessary
● Provide reporting and analysis strategy and communicate key performance trends
● Perform data analysis as needed to problem solve and identify trends and opportunities
