New job listing goes from OPEN to COMPLETED in less than an hour?
0

I understand that voice seekers get bombarded with submission within minutes of posting a job. But I've seen jobs go from OPEN to COMPLETED in less than one hour. This is particularly frustrating when (as I did today) a job seeker responds within 5 minutes only to find they are submission number 50. Then the status is listed as COMPLETED in less than an hour. The CLOSING date for the job was 3 days from today but the job is already COMPLETED. My question is ~ Why do voice seekers do this? Is it that they don't understand the response they will receive will be massive?

Hi Michael,
sometimes clients that do not have a previous history will post jobs with Voices.com and when that happens, we do need to review their post to ensure that they are posting at least in the minimum range, that their script and job posting is appropriate and that the job itself is an actual opportunity for one of our members to get work.
Because we do review jobs from new clients, sometimes they need to move their project forward and cannot afford to wait for us to review it. And if the job is posted late at night and not reviewed until the next day, sometimes the client has already filled the position. As a result, once we review and post the job, the client gets notified that their job is now live and then they mark it as complete to prevent getting needless auditions.
