Does anyone ever REALLY buy the voices advertised on ebay?

One person is advertising 70 words for $5....wow...no wonder it's so hard to get work with this going on. Sheesh.

Yup. Take a look at the 'bay's "completed listings" (see link below). Assuming the transactions are legit, one person gives it up for well under $20 a pop--at least two "sales" to the same buyer. (The seller also auctions/sells other commodities on the bay.) Another talent offers 1-2-min segments for $100; so far no takers (but then, the seller is competing with the aforementioned lowballer).
