When you are paid for a job, you are featured.

So, if you get a job you're featured probably leading to more potential clients listening to your demos or inviting you to audition giving an advantage over the rest.

Yes. Since Voices charges you to access their auditions, featuring recently hired talent is their way of 'giving back' to those who audition and get hired frequently. It's a reward for those who spent a lot of time auditioning and finally found a job that they were hired for.

I see that you have two feedbacks on your profile- this means you've been featured twice thus far. And if you keep auditioning and getting gigs, you'll show up on the Featured section of the front page more and more often! It's just a matter of working towards it.

If you're looking for more exposure, the best thing to do is just to make your profile look as polished as possible so that when potential clients find you, they stick around. Get a professional headshot done, fill out your profile information to 100%, stuff like that. This way you'll look great when clients search for you in the Voices database- and if you show up favorably in the database, the Featured page is just a bonus.
