Voices.com’s CEO and co-founder, David Ciccarelli, has been selected as a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of The Year Award in the Media & Entertainment category for the Ontario region. The award celebrates the contribution and spirit of entrepreneurs everywhere. In its 20th year, the Canadian program honours the country’s most impressive entrepreneurs from all areas of business. Award finalists are chosen based on their vision, leadership, financial success and social responsibility.
Stephanie Ciccarelli, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of Voices.com, has been named one of Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs as part of the 15th annual W100 ranking of Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs, produced by PROFIT Magazine and Chatelaine. With over 1 million female entrepreneurs in Canada, PROFIT and Chatelaine ranked the top 100, with Stephanie coming in at number 55. Ranking Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs on a composite score based on the size, growth rate and profitability of their businesses, the W100 profiles the country’s most successful female business owners.
The online marketplace that connects businesses with professional voice talent, Voices.com, was announced as a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year Category for the 2013 Ontario Business Achievement Awards (OBAAs). The awards honour businesses - and their leaders- for achievements in innovation, market expansion, exports, and corporate responsibility. The OBAAs, organized by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, are recognized as the premier business awards gala in the province.
