Highlights

Heather Farrar's English, North American, Mid-West voice is:

- intrinsic to the storytelling, making it easy to listen to for hours in narration, radio, television, commercials and in business communication.

-Her love of children goes well with her characters for Ipad app's, character cartoons, and websites.

-Music, jingles, singing, are a passion also
- She brings a natural, warm read to her style, bearing thoughtful, sweet and friendly inflections to her storytelling methods.

-Sometimes soft-spoken, yet most often very real, she brings that Generation X experience to the table; always sincere to her characters, subtly giving them life.

- As a consummate professional to the writer and author (being an author too) she lets the story be the director to the narration. Whether playful or perky, the girl next door, musing the middle-age misunderstood mother, diva, or sardonic bitch, she can sculpt a storyline.

- Her confidence comes through in a genuine read, focusing on the authors intent through their writing in a performance well performed; leaving the readers need for that suspension of disbelief in anticipation to the story journey through the audio book listening experience.

- Other uses for her talent include commercial, radio, business, cartoons, telephone, Television, podcasting, Internet, education and much more

“Quick, responsive, and she got just the tone I was looking for in a dramatic reading. Recommneded!” Soren Narnia *

"My voice has been designed in such a way as to gain a response! It has been said that I have a “Fun sized” voice, with many qualities, textures and flavors: (Take a deep breath here!) Sweet, smooth, creamy, tangy, sour, pungent, affectionate, agreeable, amiable, angelic, appealing, attractive, beautiful, beloved, charming, cherished, companionable, considerate, darling, dear, dearest, delectable, delicious, delightful, dulcet, engaging, fair, (BREATHE!) generous, gentle, good-humored, good-natured, heavenly, lovable, loving, luscious, mild, mushy, patient, pet, pleasant, pleasing, precious, reasonable, saccharine, sweet-tempered, sympathetic, tender, thoughtful, treasured, unselfish, winning, winsome. (One more deep breath!) Then there is the opposite: Acidic, bitter, churlish, crabby, cynical, disagreeable, discontented, displeasing, embittered, grouchy, grudging, ill-natured, ill-tempered, irritable, jaundiced, on edge, peevish, (breathe here) rotten, tart, ungenerous, unhappy, unpleasant, waspish, and whiny with mid-ranges to high pitched, excited, crunchy, scratchy AND... ABSOLUTLY ANNOYING! I am very effectual for whatever is demanded in a script, as my inflections are very intrinsically intuitive. Characters I have emulated well are witches, fairies, hags and just about anything that an annoying character of 4' 10" inch's can muster up; my voice can be very childlike. It is very suited for poetry, children books, narration, characters involving teen or smaller persons or tiny creature characters, cartoons. I can go the other spectrums as well and am looking for new vocal challenges. Need sensual, seductive, calming, concerned, very parental and authoritative or a concerned citizen? Yup, been that too! On hold messaging, motivational speaking and corporate training are some of my specialties. I LOVE PEOPLE; I LOVE THE STORY BEHIND HUMAN CHARACTER AND BEHAVIOR, making me very sensitive to the voice of the story! Heather Farrar: The Fun Sized Voice of Choice!
