Ralph Davis is the professional IVR / Speech Recognition voice currently used by the National Australia Bank, GE Money, Ticketmaster, Qantas, the U.S. Consul General, the British High Commission, the Australian Department of Defence, Hewlett-Packard, the Festival of Sydney and more.
Recently, Ralph has also been doing some corporate voicing for MLC, as well as the intros & sweepers for 'Chequered Flag' on Fox Sports’ SPEED Channel.
In a focus group conducted by Nuance Communications on behalf of GE Money, Ralph's voice was described in terms such as friendly, reassuring, calming and clear. It’s particularly well accepted on both Australian and New Zealand business phone systems, and has been described as having a 'Trans-Tasman' quality.
Ralph's voice is used on telephone systems operated by Qantas Airlines in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the USA, for around eighteen years now. The IVR service, through which callers can track Domestic and International flights for most airlines, receives over five million calls each year in Australia alone.
