Freelance Voice Over Artist (January 01 - present)
Sharon has recorded phone messages, adverts and promos for radio stations and companies in the UK, Europe, USA and Pakistan. In 2008, Sharon joined the Swap-A-Spot network helping out smaller commercial stations in America with voiceovers for commercials. She recently (2011) recorded a voiceover for one of the largest radio production houses in America.
Freelance Broadcast Journalist (April 09 - present)
Sharon provides news cover for a number of commercial radio stations in the south east of England. Sharon has used both her journalism and voiceover skills to provide award entries and news articles for Southern Water.
Bay Radio, Javea, Spain (June 08- 2011)
Sharon provides both voiceovers for adverts as well as cover news reading for this ex-pat station on the Costa Blanca. Sharon has also recently recorded a short programme on ghost hunting for broadcast in the Evening Show.

Head hunted to write & read bulletins every 20 minutes throughout the biggest dog show in the world. 2011 saw the launch of the Cruffts FM Twitter account which Sharon managed and currently has over 370 followers. Sharon also researched and conducted interviews and is already booked for 2012.

After leaving school at 17, Sharon joined her local radio station on a work experience basis and within a few weeks was on the air as Breakfast Show Sidekick and reporter in the news bulletins. She soon progressed to full time news reader. Sharon put in a lot of long hours and spent a lot of time in the studio for voice training.
Sharon then branched out to recording in house adverts for sister stations within the group.
Sharon has since progressed to gaining work at a number of stations and gained the position of Sports Editor at Sovereign Radio, which she held for four years, until being made redundant during the recession. Sharon is regularly called upon to voice pieces for British stations and companies, as well as working for English speaking stations in Spain and providing voiceovers for a number of smaller stations in America.
