Experience
Being someone who works with students, it is necessary to capture their attention. I have had to do a number of presentations, both serious as well as light-hearted, and I have found it necessary to modify my speaking to fit the presentation. You get one shot with students to have them hear what you say and actually listen to what you are telling them. My voice provides a degree of sincerity and honesty that allows me to get my message across and be truly heard.

I have a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) with a major in Marketing, as well as a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. Both of these degrees have focused on the ability to speak to an audience and not only get but hold their attention. I have no problem speaking in front of a group and find the experience rewarding. I have also been a big fan of movies (especially Disney/Pixar) and can do many of the characters that are portrayed in these movies.
