With more than 40 years experience, Tony personally received or has credits on productions earning an Academy Award, several Emmys, Peabody Awards, an Armstrong Award and the Edward R. Murrow RTNDA International Award, among others. As a San Francisco-based television broadcast journalist, he wrote, produced and voiced many hundreds of news stories that aired on CBS and ABC affiliates across the country. Previously, he was a reporter at NBC News and anchored radio newscasts in New York City and Los Angeles. He has narrated and reported documentaries that were shown theatrically and broadcast on PBS and Discovery. As a certified SCUBA diver with additional underwater communications certification, Tony was awarded one of his Emmys for the world's first live underwater broadcast by a reporter in dive gear, meaning he may be the only professional voice talent who can perform the physically and technically demanding task of narrating a project while submerged live or in real time.
