Experience
Steve Carlson's first incarnation into this business was as a musician, which quickly morphed into a film acting career that lasted over thirty years. He started in ten movies, was series regular on four TV series (The Virginian, Young and Restless, General Hospital, New Day in Eden) and guest stared in over 50 TV series from Mr, Novack to the last episode of Seinfeld as well as hosting the Dick Clark Rock & Roll Era. He also managed to squeeze in over 500 commercials and became one of the more sought after VO guys in Los Angeles.
He's been the premier voice of the cruise industry for the last 25 years (not a bad gig). (Princess cruises, Holland America Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, etc.) That continues to this day.
He was also always writing. It first, it was screenplays, then non-fiction books (three), then to two novels published by St. Martin's Press and more to follow. Steve brings a creative professionalism to every project he gets involved with. You can learn more about him at his web site; www.stevecarlson.tv
Credentials
Education
Working his way through the University of Wyoming, singing and playing guitar, towards his Theater Arts Degree probably started it all since that led to him being tapped by MGM to come to LA and become an actor. Thirty eight years later, he had spent a life-time doing just that.
Going to work every day was like on-the-job-training; working with such as; Jane Wyman, the Sienfeld bunch, Richard Chamberlain, Ben Gazara, Dick Clark, E.G Marshal, Bob Hope, Tom Sellick, Richard Dean Anderson, and on and on.
I also got a chance to grow immensely as I worked with some of the best voice talents in the world as well as studying at USC and UCLA and privately with Maurice Tobius, Susan Blu and Mel Blanc.
