Color me a voice artist. Working with words is not my hobby nor just my job but my calling. While the intent of the author is implied in the script, there is an art in using those words to strengthen, for shading, to create a focus or trigger an emotion and live up to their best potential.
As a voice artist, I can get to the heart of the copy to drive it home. And to do so, call on a virtual community of vocal styles. No costumes, no props, just the script, a microphone and skill sharpened by years of experience.
Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. Which goes far in explaining why I don’t consider doing a voiceover a job, but an opportunity to create, perform, impact and deliver.
