ED VICTOR is "THE BIG GUN"

With a successful career in advertising that has spanned over 22 years, Ed Victor has worked with some of the best voice-over and on-camera talent in the business. He's taken his writing, producing and directing experiences, coupled with as many years in the recording studio, to develop and establish his very own voice-over success.

Today, Victor is considered one of the "BIG GUNS" in the voice-over industry. With a roster of national and international clients that read like an A to Z list of the Fortune 500.
Commercials, Promos, Narration, Video Games and Trailers, his voice-over career continues to flourish.

Like most successful voice talent, Victor got his start early on. Fresh out of high school, Victor worked the grave-yard shift at a small market radio station in Ohio, for $96 a week. "If we had a strong wind that night, you might be able to hear the station across the street,"said Victor. On the up-side, small market radio is a great argument for continuing with higher education!

After graduating with a Broadcast-Journalism Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit (Casey Kasem's Alma Mater), Victor went on to land a production job at a Detroit television station, hoping to one day land on-air through behind the scenes work.

After station budget cuts, his aspirations of on-camera fame were soon dashed. Not long after, and desperate for a job, he wound up filling in for a vacationing copywriter at a small suburban Detroit ad agency. The frugal agency owner seeing that young Victor had writing, directing and voice over experience, decided to make Victor his new "multi-tasker."
And with that, so began Victor's journey into the world of advertising - with a side of voice over.

Like all burgeoning Creatives, Victor moved from ad agency to ad agency, over the years climbing the ranks to Creative Director status. He led creative teams at J. Walter Thompson, Young and Rubicam, McCann Erickson and finally, after years of jumping around, settled into his own ad shop with a handful of clients and a solid if not booming voice-over career.

Victor's own advertising agency reached $25 million in billings and touted national and international clients affording him the ongoing benefit of voicing everything himself! His colleagues, friends and clients soon deemed him a mini-version of legendary voice and ad man, the late Hal Riney.

An Emmy for a television show he created and shelves of countless creative awards later, Victor gave up the frenetic world of Advertising Executive to return to his original love - working behind the microphone.
