I ran an open audition for a little boy mouse character for an educational video game. I listened to dozens of custom demos of actors reading a few lines, but one really stood out. So much so that it quickly became Weston versus the rest. Baffled on how a grown man could sound exactly like a young boy, I discovered that he really is a young boy. I guess you can't beat the real thing. He knocked it out quickly and provided multiple readings with different inflections and they were all awesome. We'll probably use them all and randomize them so the character will feel more vibrant and the game play more interesting. In a couple of years I assume he'll be killing it as the go to voice actor for the wholesome teenage boy and in about 60 years he'll be in demand as the kindly and wise grandpa.
