An authentic read that sounds conversational, genuine and even a little friendly, has a much better chance of keeping your customers attention, ultimately sparking their interest in what your offering. My Professional Voice Over Journey My journey into professional voice over work happened unexpectedly. As a producer of video marketing and television content, I would use my voice as the demo track for many of our projects in development. Many of our clients were so happy with the demo reads I was doing, they would request to keep my voice for the product. So I decided to start offering voice over services for all types of media companies, agencies and brands. As a video and television producer, I’m quite in tune with what agencies and brands are looking for when they request a specific tone, feel and voice inflection for specific projects. I’ve also been coaching voice over talent for the span of my career, so I’m very familiar with the language and I can appreciate the time and detail that needs to be put into achieving that perfect read. My reads can sound less intimidating, approachable and very authentic. My voice tends to work very well for explainer videos for web products and applications, iPhone apps and software products. But I believe an authentic style read can be applied to virtually any type of video or advertisement.
