Voices Recognized Among 50 Best Medium-sized Workplaces in Canada for 2019 by Great Place to Work®
London, ON | April 25, 2019
“At Voices, we take the utmost pride in our people, and it is always an honour to discover that they feel the same about us,” says Ann Walton, VP of People & Operations at Voices. “We are always searching for new and exciting ways to give back to our employees, and are delighted they truly feel that they are valued and appreciated.”
The 2019 Best Workplaces™ in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results, and the remaining one-third comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to the five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.
In order to successfully meet these standards, an organization’s leadership and management must excel in the nine defined areas of hiring, inspiring, speaking, listening, thanking, developing, caring, celebrating, and sharing. A more in-depth evaluation of these areas is available here.
This year’s list received over 400 registrations and over 80,000 employees participated in the 2019 “Best Workplaces™ in Canada” survey, rolling out to impact over 300,000 Canadian employees. For more information, please contact the Institute at [email protected] or visit www.greatplacetowork.ca.
Voices is often recognized for its focus on employee satisfaction, and has been named to similar lists in the past.
