My name is Andrew Pratt. I am 24 years old and from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. I have one brother and a dog named Daisy. I live in Philadelphia and attend Temple University, where I am involved with media studies and production. My main passion in life is to be a musician. I have been playing drums for six years now and have contributed to an assortment of musical endeavours. I honed my craft daily by practicing my instrument or learning the intricacies of audio recording tools. In my spare time, I volunteer with Bell Tower Records to help record their signed artists. My primary inspiration stems from a deep seated love for music as a whole. The primary challenge I've faced in pursuing the street is time making time. Practice record and mixed material is massively time consuming. Find that being a full time student and having a part time job apart from other person obligations takes up more time than I would like. Knowing that I must enter the workforce when I finished, school also places an artificial deadline on my craft. I never have enough time to do things I plan to. On top of this, I find myself toiling over the same material for hours on end, trying to attend to every small imperfection. This tends to stagnate my progress on different musical projects and leaves me frustrated. My perfectionist nature has led me to believe that if I don't obsess over the small things and I could create something less than ideal despite this, I will never let these issues impose on my desire to make music and perform with others. I will make my dream a reality of my passion and dedication will carry me forward.
