Description

Me reading the voiceover of a read a graduate student was required to have as part of a project for her graduate school course. The assignment focused on the theory of sameness from the The young adult novel The Giver. This is me reading an overall introduction of the theory from the perspective of a student. It happens when Jonas, the main character in the novel, was playing a friendly game of catch with an and in mid-air the apple changes to the point it ends up looking like his tunic. Once that occurs the giver informed Jonas to look at the top row of books behind a table for the intention of informing Jonas that his memory is same of the color of the apple…a color he was beginning to see…red; so from then on out all the memories Jonas noticed were red. Jonas then admits how this visual change altered him, how he understood the benefit of the requirement of this society to function in this manner. How this theory represents how many are united when having to go through diversity, his confidence to use this theory for life changing decisions, the fact that he as a whole new approach towards life, and most important spreading this theory to others.

students. Name. Leo Walker. Character name Log. Junius Chapters Ray one through 12 poem selection unless something else, such as a chemical reaction takes place. Topic Chosen color. A few days ago, I decided to grab around edible item from a basket, not t e, but to play our usual activity of catching the recreation area, Asher and I throw, catch, throw catch. But this time something unusual happened. The apple changed in that air. Now the shape or size of it. It remained a perfect sphere. I didn't quite understand what had happened, because in an instant the shade of the apple matched the sheet of my tunic. During my recent assignment, they give her told me to look at the top row books behind the table. I stared at them and the books changed exactly like the apple did. The giver told me You're beginning to see the cholerae. I had no idea that the memory I was receiving of the objects sliding on the snow called a **** had the same change of the apple, the color red. For some reason, that color disappears in an instant. The giver told me when I receive all the memories I will have the capacity to see beyond back in the time of memories. Things had a size and shape, as they do now, but they had a special quality color. They give her sees all the colors, but now I only see the one color red. I learned that before seeing this, people could see color sunshine and had differences. One of those differences was flesh. Having many different colors seem to stopped all that to gain control of many things. All I know is that this visual change has changed me. I have told no one, and that is not my only secret. I committed what my community will consider a crime. Permission to tell the truth, I read. I was sent it to open one of the many books that fill the shelves in the givers room. I came across a poem titled Need Not Be Homogeneous. There is a line of poetry that reads, unless something else, such as a chemical reaction takes place the memories I receive or my chemical reaction to see change. I want to change how I approach life, be ableto have em need choices that are not regulated by control control is the power of seamless. This visual change breaks away from everything. Looking the scene, the true solution the poet speaks of maybe what she calls unity through diversity. What is that? Diversity? I will have to look it up. Next time I go to the gift. I wonder if my community represents that fancy word diversity until next time.
