Mystic Messenger is a dating simulator in which there are seven routes you can choose from today. I will be diving into the entirety of Zen's route. If I were to try and fit the whole entire lore of Mystic Messenger and its routes, this would be a very long video which is exactly why I've decided to break it down from their routes then doing an analysis on the lore as a whole personally, for me, Zen was a miss, his narcissistic personality was actually quite fun for me, but he just didn't stick out for me, which is exactly why I'm doing an analysis on his route. First was born on April 1st a year not known Hyun was the youngest son and had always been born facially blessed. This ended up taking a toll for him though, as in his younger years, strangers would often follow him just to look at him or even touch him while others were constantly complimenting him. His family thought quite the opposite mother was constantly telling Heon how ugly he was. This would cause he to confide about these incidents to his brother. However, his brother would often tell him that she was doing it for his own good. When in reality, his mother was doing this so that he wouldn't end up like previous family members who ended up damaging the family name because of what they decided to do with their looks towards middle school. The effect his mother had on him wore off as he started growing more and more confident in his looks and found his passion for acting in music. His family held more traditional values and believed that he should become something like a doctor or a lawyer over time. More and more of his family started pressuring him to drop his passion because of the constant pressure and conflict. He ran away from home and dropped out of school during this time, he was barely straggling by and due to lack of rent of money since he could only work small jobs every now and then because of this, he eventually turned toward more drastic things to survive, for example, threatening people for money and joining a motorcycle gang. Some time later, he eventually stopped participating in such activities and began working toward his actual passion. Became Zen. From that point on Zen eventually meets Rica who showed up with a bouquet of flowers who praised him for his work and stated that she had always been a fan of him. Rika, then set Zen up to meet V to take a picture together. And from there on Zen and V's relationship and Rica's relationship with Zen had started. Some time later, Zen joined the R FA.
