All that I could hear was the sound of the radio static as I sped down the back road, the moon drone of the car engine rumbled as I tried to get away. Was he still following me? I had no time to even think about that as I continued my journey, I glanced over at the seat, the suitcase was still there. So I didn't imagine that. But that means that car is still coming for me and I have to hide the path. I verged up ahead in two different directions and without thinking, I chose one, but my heart sank as I read a sign on the side of the road, no outlet. I just cornered myself with no other option. Instead of following the road, I turned my car off the road and drove through the forest, weaving and dodging the trees. I somehow managed to get through and out the other side. I looked behind me to check no one was following me. So I wasted no time and I turned my attention back in front of me and sped off.
