a long time ago. Zebras and donkeys were brothers and sisters. They came from one mother and one father. In those days, all animals were friendly and they lived together. They had no king, no queen or any leader. If they wanted to say anything, they all informed each other. One day they had a meeting and decided it was time to choose a leader. They all had different opinions or ideas of how to choose one. Every animal tried to give its own idea, but there were so many animals that it stretched into several days of meetings. On the third day, Mr Hairs idea was among the best. His suggestion was that all animals with horns to choose their leader, those with Klaus would choose their leader. In two days time, a feast would be held to introduce the new leaders. They were also prizes to be won by the most beautiful animals. The zebra and his brother, Donkey saw that they would win. The prize is they decided to beautify one another. But the problem was that zebra wanted to be beautified first, and so did the donkey. They called Mr Hair for a decision, since he was a well known judge and very clever. When he came, he decided that zebra should be first because he was the elder brother of donkey. Therefore, donkey started beautifying the zebra. He colored zebra with thick stripes of black and white, very slowly and carefully. By the time Zebra was being finished, the other animals had started to move towards the feast. As soon as a zebra was finished, he ran to the rest of the animals and left his brother Donkey on, beautified angrily, the donkey tried to decorate himself but failed. And this is why he has so few colors. Today the zebra won a prize and to this day is liked because of his beautiful skin. But from that time, the donkey and the de Seabra did not meet, nor stay together, nor make any friendship again.
