The Right Voice to Bring Your Videogame Character to Life

I love my job, and you'll hear it. For over seven years I've been voicing commercials, videogames, children's animation and e-learning, audiobooks, and sizzle reels. My studio and equipment are professional-grade and SourceConnect-certified. I'm comfortable being directed or recording on my own, and I never miss a deadline. - Previous work as a clinician helps me empathize with my audience - Work as a writer gave me the skills to understand how a message should be delivered - My performance background, classical voice training, and almost three-octave vocal range give me complete control of my instrument, with the ability to connect and engage the audience. I'm a Mid-West Gen-Xer, but my characters range from chidren to crones and MANY in between. For commercial and narration work my natural voice is mid-high range and friendly; voice age young adult to middle aged. I'm particularly good at genuine, conversational reads where I get the chance to do some acting, and I love scripts that call for a little sass or sarcasm! Oh, and why “not just a pretty voice”? Two reasons. First is the play on “not just a pretty face” (meaning someone has good looks and brains), which is a reference to my background in science and two Master’s Degrees in genetics. And secondly, as you’ll hear from my character demo, my work isn’t always about using a pretty voice. My characters sometimes have downright ugly voices.
