I'm an award winning narrator with eight years' experience creating game characters ranging from spoiled children and scared teens, to soldiers and a warrior princess, to (lots of) witches and ancient healers/mages. This is my favorite kind of voice over work and I put my whole self into bringing these characters to life. I have an acting background, participate in regular coaching to keep my skills sharp, and have audio engineering training.

My professional home studio creates crystal-clear broadcast-ready audio. I will edit the audio for breaths, time (as needed), background noise, etc and deliver audio with space between lines that is ready to drop into your game (unless you prefer raw audio). I can self-direct or we can do a directed session together via Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, or SourceConnect.

About Carrie

I'm an award-winning audiobook narrator and professional voice actress with eight years' experience narrating commercials, sizzle reels, training videos, and meditation content, and voicing characters for games, animation, children's e-learning, and short films. My studio and equipment are professional-grade and SourceConnect-certified. I'm comfortable being directed or recording on my own, and I never miss a deadline. - Previous work as a clinician helps me empathize with my audience - Work as a writer gave me the skills to understand how a message should be delivered - I'm a Mid-West Gen-Xer, but my characters range from children to crones and MANY in between. For commercial and narration work my natural voice is mid-high range and friendly; voice age young adult to middle aged. I'm particularly good at genuine, conversational reads where I get the chance to do some acting, and I love scripts that call for a little sass or sarcasm! Oh, and why “not just a pretty voice”? Two reasons. First is the play on “not just a pretty face” (meaning someone has good looks and brains), which is a reference to my background in science and two Master’s Degrees in genetics. And secondly, as you’ll hear from my character demo, my work isn’t always about using a pretty voice. My characters sometimes have downright ugly voices.
