The year 2020 was a turning point for the entire world as it challenged the social political educational cultural systems in place, creating greater shifts and divides within communities. You young leaders serve as the channels through which we can all experience progression, positive social change and expansion. Elevation for justice invites rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders to join us this summer from July 12th to August 4th. During this four week intensive, you will participate in workshops dedicated to social topics like climate change, women empowerment, team, mental health and youth activism. You will develop the skills to organize community service initiatives and petitions dedicated to causes that matter to you. You will learn how to use your voice and your social media accounts to create spaces of acceptance for all of us. As the late peaceful civil rights activist, John Lewis once said get in good trouble, necessary trouble and help redeem the soul of America.
