Revisiting Antioch pioneering in this new era is going to see Apostolic Christianity found in the Book of Acts restored to the global church. Specifically, I believe God is highlighting Acts 13 and the church at Antioch as a prototype for what must come forth in the decades ahead. It says in X 13, 123 N A S B. Now there were prophets and teachers at Antioch in the church that was there, Barnabus Simian who was called *** Lucius of Cyrene man who had been brought up with hair, the tech Ark and Saul while they were serving the Lord in fasting, the Holy Spirit said, set Barnabus and fall apart from me for the work to which I have called them. Then when they had fasted and prayed and laid hands on them, they sent them away. Paul and Barnabas were sent by the Holy Spirit as apostles from Antioch and many prophets and teachers resided there. It was a training and equipping center that sent out teams on apostolic assignments and missions. It was an atmosphere where the fivefold ministry operated as a team rather than disjointed from one another. In the new era, we are going to see churches planted in all sorts of different wines skins with the common denominator being that they will embrace team ministry, ministry to the Lord and seek to equip Saints into the work of ministry. Like never before. After reporting back to Antioch, after his first missionary journey with Barnabus Paul took another trip to see how the saints were maturing in Christ. This time was Silas a prophet see acts 15 32. It would only be a short time until Paul added Timothy to this team c A 16 123, although called as an apostle to plant churches. Paul was constantly surrounding himself with other fivefold ministers. He recognized the need for the grace of Jesus Christ to be fully present and active on his team.
