Hello. You look little lost. You want to go and see Agra Fort? Come, come. I can show you. Yes. My name is Kumar. I have been Molly here for the last 30 years. Since I was a boy of 14 years old. Yes. I take care of all the forts, gardens and plants. Oh, it's one of the best jobs in the world, if you ask me. But there's lots to live up to also. After all, Agra was one of the most important cities of medieval India. And this fort is where some of the world's most powerful kings held court. They built palaces and gardens to ensure that people knew it. I'll be honest with you. I've never been to school. But in my years here, I've seen many historians come and go. And I know more about the moguls than there is three teachers and certainly more than these. These guides that stand here before we go inside. I should tell you that Agra was the capital of the first five Great mogul kings. First came Barbara, who founded the Mogul Dynasty in 15 26. Then came Shah Jahan, who, of course, was famous for building a large male. But he moved the capital from Agra to Delhi in 16 38. He was the fifth mogul emperor. Everyone comes to Agra to see Taj Mahal. But if you ask me to the Agra fort or the Agrega Killah, as locals call it just as grand. Now I know my city is no Delhi. Mumbai. But back in the day of Sharjah, Hana Agra was the largest city in the world. It was a bustling hub of trade. It attracted some of the greatest minds of the day, and even arts flourished here like never before. The moguls were richer than most of the kings of their time, and they love spending money on building grand forts, palaces, even tombs.
