the clouds turned grey and the sky changes into a strange colour of green. The air is pungent, as if rain is coming. And then the tornado strikes without warning. My town is in shambles, all buildings on Main Street or in a mess. Nothing could hold back the fierce spinning wind that took my town away. And yet there it stands, the library unscathed and touched, not even a broken window. The library is a surreal magnet in a sea of devastation. The beige building stands with its doors closed as if nothing's happened. I can see that the library has lights on inside all it up as if nothing has occurred. I can see people inside, all dressed in different outfits, as if from different eras, and agitated as if trying to communicate with each other.
