peace and positivity. Beautiful people. I'd love to welcome you all today to single moms and certified auntie's A K A S M. C. A. This podcast has been created with lots of love to uplift and empower single mothers and aunts that take on parental roles will also be shutting some light on topics that we often sweep under the rug um as well as sharing some parenting tips and tricks and so much more. And although we celebrate women to all my single dads and certified uncles, we haven't forgotten about y'all either. We'll be dropping some gems for y'all as well as we embark this beautiful journey together. Um so let's get into it, y'all. Uh my name is Catherine and this is With this first episode I should say um is a very, very, very special one. If y'all are in Georgia like I am, then I know some of y'all got y'all, little early morning parenting on getting these babies ready for school and everything. I hope you all had them crispy new fits already picked out in that lunch pack because baby getting kids out of that summer routine is not easy. Okay, so I said, today is a very special day because I want to shine a light on some marvelous single mothers that I know. Um I just, I woke up today inspired to give them their flowers. Um now y'all this show is not called SMC A for nothing. You can call me C A I am a certified on T baby and I don't have any kids, but I kind of got them all. Um and the Smt Macia is not with me today because she's out here being a supermom as we speak. Um she's been getting her baby ready for school prepping for tomorrow and um just a whole lot of stuff if I'll be honest with you, her name is jayla and my first flowers of the day actually go to her um since I've known Jayla, I've always known her to be a hard working woman, not just in business but in parenting y'all. Like when I tell you sometimes I sit back and I'm just in all of the way she brings up her little nugget. Like I am like, I truly mean that like sometimes it brings tears to my eyes for real and maybe that's just because like I'm a little sap but it's really, really a beautiful thing. Like the relationship that she has with her daughter is definitely one to marvel at. Um like these two ladies are tighter than some choked up chucks or like a random *** jar that I can never get open. Um not only does she allow her little princess to express herself, but she genuinely takes the time to talk and listen to her baby, like really paying attention to every little detail about her, like so much so that she came back from spending the summer with her dad and when she walked in, she she found a newly renovated room, a brand new puppy waiting for her. Um, just so jayla could see her baby light up when she walked through the door, like with no mentions of anything, she, she watched her baby evolved right before her eyes and knew exactly what she would want and what she would need in this new stage of her life. Um you know, I watched her go so hard for her baby every single day with little to no help from anyone at all really. Um, and at the same time, like she manages to juggle her job, business ventures as well as herself, love and care. So jayla, I know you're busy right now showing up and showing out for your little princess, but girl, you are a glorious mother, keep doing your thing, You are a super hero. The next superhero to get her flowers of the day is gonna be my gorgeous sister to lisa. Um I met this woman back when we were kids in middle school and although we're not blood related, she will forever be my soul sister y'all like, I feel like in a past life or something we was really related. Um but anyway, I remember when, when we were kids, I used to call her jolly right because her *** was always so damn chipper. Like why are you so hype At 7:00 AM? Like I couldn't, I couldn't do it. I wasn't a morning person back then I am now because I'm older and I realized, you know, waking up early and all that jazz make stuff happen. Um, but when we were kids, baby, no Catherine woman to sleep and she, she wanted to just be running around laughing, being loud and all that good stuff, but I love that she has kept that beautiful light about her. Like throughout the years she has really blessed me with the most beautiful and intelligent, nice and nephew and auntie could ever ask for and those aren't my only nieces and nephew. Um, I have a lot, a lot. Um, but today today is a really, really special day for her. Um, today I'm giving my sister her flowers because she deserves them more than anyone. I know if I'll be honest with you. Um not only have I been blessed to grow up and evolve beside her over the years, but I've also gotten that opportunity to watch her evolve her wonderful Children into little people that will someday make a beautiful impact on this world. Um not only does she does she have a strong bond with her babies, but she's also taught them to have a strong bond amongst themselves. Like these two beautiful little babies are just as attached to one another's hip as they are to their moms and I think that is just so precious. My uh, my sister works so tirelessly on her business ventures while providing her little prince and princess with all the love and support and understanding and compassion that a mother could give to her Children. Um, I've watched ELISA make many, many risks and sacrifices to position herself and her family in a beautiful state of living, just creating that sound foundation to prepare her babies for absolute success in their futures. Um, she's carried her her family not as a champ, but as an elite warrior and I'm so proud of her, y'all since if you're listening, I am so freaking proud of you. You are one of the greatest moms. I know and I'm grateful to have been blessed with such wonders. Not only have you evolved them into magnificent beings, but they too have evolved you into the grandiose woman that you are today. Okay. So I know you, I don't know, you know, I'll be a sap and all that and I know we don't talk about all this and like, you know, all these feelings and stuff because then we both start crying and then it would be like a little boo hoo or whatever, but I love you, I'm proud of you keep doing what it is that you do and you know, you're, you're just gonna continue to grow and evolve. And so were the Children and it's such a beautiful thing. Listen, y'all today is a day to give any single parent day flowers. Okay. Especially are single moms who show up and show out for us every single day. We shouldn't wait for special occasions to share our appreciation for anyone, whether it be a mom, a dad, sister, cousin, brother, your auntie, your damn dog, your house plants, whoever it is that you value just, you never know who needs to hear those loving words fly from your lips. So take some time out today and just show and tell someone how much it is that you care and appreciate them. And I'd also love to hear from y'all to send us an email or leave a comment with who you would like to give your flowers of the day too. And if you would like for us to, you know, share your special message with them, we'll let you know a day before we share your flowers so they can tune in and receive them if they aren't already actively tuned in. Um, this is a place of love, encouragement, positivity and freedom. Um, and we want to share the experience with with all of you, um peace and positivity, my beautiful people until we speak again. This is Catherine with SMC, a signing off. I love y'all Take care. Yeah.
