three Industrial is a short lasting trip into a parallel universe which lasts about 2-3 hours but will keep you captivated through its masterfully crafted mystery and thick atmosphere. Mm hmm walter walter. The game starts off with you waking up on a couch in your apartment in Berlin 1989. It is the night of the mouthful in which Western and Eastern Germany were reunited. Your boyfriend Walter calls you and tells you about an issue in the facility and he mentions that he has to deal with it by the sound of us. Have always you become worried and go after him to the facility. What the the tangent residence, It's not usually like that. It is a stunning machine and its purpose becomes clear quickly you realize walter made it finally work and transported himself somewhere else. You reactivate the machine and follow him. Okay, you find yourself in an alternate version of Germany. It's technology seems stuck somewhere between the 1st and 2nd world war. You learn that it is 1979 10 years before the prior events and totally different. While you encounter the first enemies max made of rudimentary technology, you meet Brent. You should probably get the **** out of that. He rescues you and supports you throughout your travels. This is the setup from here on out. The game is very careful in giving you additional information about this world. Some things get revealed by brands. Some things you learn by observing your environments and others you learn at the very end. I don't know. Mm hmm. The game is slow, very slow. And I mean that in the best way possible, you're not constantly barraged by countless enemies surrounding a position. If you're careful, you can take out most dangers by being patient and hitting them from afar. And this is great because the developers were brave enough to let the environment speak for itself. Mhm. This city is flush with details. Some credit the game with a half life two esque charm that I would also agree. It gives off the developers actually thank the game's existence and the credits. So it is a joy to explore and to see what one can find. Dark passageways, bright and flourishing plazas. Quick trips to the oldest house of control. Yeah, kinda. And rolling fields with wonderfully awkward spheres around creating a world that feels comfortably known but eerily off at the same time. In most cases this is true. But the game unfortunately features lacking optimization and a few technical problems. That holds some of its moments back starting the game. And Direct X 11 mode reduces some of the issues mentioned, but unfortunately does not fix them entirely. And also the additional features of Raytraced ambient occlusion. Shadows and reflections have a transformative quality that it did not want to miss. Using DLS. S the game stayed playable in most situations and I could deal with it. The game has been made by very few people and by all the detail they have added to this world. I can deal with a few hiccups just fine. So who are these max when I don't want to say too much. But that reminded me of a few things now after finishing the game, I'm still not sure if this is possible, but a lot of the elements in this game feel inspired. Let's start with a rounded make balls scattered around the world. They immediately brought my mind to neo to matter. So did the bipedal max that either should or rush you down with the media weapon. They could be straight from that game or to be fair from Star Wars Rogue one. Are you talking about me? They do look kind of like that as well. The game also features a small robot dark which looks incredibly close to the general dynamics companion they released last year and then there's a jerk like rushing mini bots which feature lacks. That reminded me a lot of metal gear. The standard enemy is another bipedal but which did not remind me of anything but was probably the most annoying opponent to me. Yeah, yes, true. You have just seen me using the shotgun and generally all guns are noisy and punchy as ****. The X is also super crunchy. Quite satisfying to use. They also dismember the bots all in all. There's nothing special to say it is a small assortment of guns that feels great to use. Mm hmm. I bought this game on a Sunday evening and I finished it in one sitting. It is €20 right now and for some this might seem like a lot for a three hour game. But honestly there was three hours that had me tied to my seat, discovering what it all means without spoiling too much. I can already tell you that industrial seems to be the first part of a series of games with an open ending that I have to admit is not fully satisfying. But this is one of those titles where the path of discoveries worth it by itself. I recommend it and if it is on sale, I believe there's no way around it.
