This is a little screen recording an audio diary for whatever ******* reason. The year is 2025 by my calculations, I'm going to assume it's July based on the heat. Five years, five years when everything went to ****. In that time, I have watched friends and family die. I have had to take other lives. I have been beaten, stabbed, shot, almost eaten a couple of times, and not just by infected. It hasn't been easy. I am not the ultimate survivor. I thought I would be as a kid. No, the movies and the video games really don't prepare you for the real thing. But the worst part is I'm used to it. I'm used to this violence. I'm used to a having to kill and that that terrifies me. I don't know why I'm recording this. Maybe for the next generation, although I really doubt there will be a next generation. I haven't seen anyone building any camps or havens or shelters for people. It it's just squatters, really. We go wherever we can find that safe and then move on when it's not safe anymore. That's just how life goes now. You're always on the move. I don't know. Maybe I'll find other survivors who have started rebuilding life as it once was. But I think I think this is the end for us, for humans, and let's face it, we deserve it.
