Galatians 2 20 I have been crucified with christ and I no longer live but christ lives in me. The life I have now in the body I live by faith in the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. It's a pretty amazing thing to have God's Holy Spirit living inside us. The spirit is our seal, God's family stamp on us. But the spirit is also a helper and our guide encouraging and enabling us toward lives of holiness. Lives that don't poke at God's jealousy. How can we know if we're following the Spirit? The Holy Spirit will push us towards God's will in his word. So, if you are feeling pushed or pulled to do something, God's word forbids, that's not the Holy Spirit talking to you. It's most likely an outside force like peer pressure or it's an inside force, meaning our own natural bend to do what we want without examining it against God's word. The leading of the Holy Spirit is a great gift and will propel us towards live of holiness, humility and love
