technology is often seen as a reason why Children lose touch with nature. But what if we could use technology to unlock kids interest with the help of an inquisitive dinosaur dippy? The Natural History Museum's famous diplodocus cast is on tour around the UK We were asked to develop an immersive digital experience to help him reconnect the next generation with the natural world. Working with the Natural History Museum, we created DPS Nature notes, a progressive web up that inspires kids to physically interact in the great outdoors through experimentation, learning on storytelling on DH. Even better get the hands dirty along the way. So how does it work? First, we developed a chap based. You are to engage our audience from the get go. Next, Kids were invited to create a unique avatar and nickname that features throughout the experience. From that, they're taken to base camp where all our adventures begin. Special nature nor badges are unlocked once each adventure is completed. Kids interactions with the APP creates a unique illustrated storey featuring their avatar and nickname completely personal to them. Without direct experience. Caring about the natural world is an abstract idea for kids. It's only when they see the wonders of nature firsthand that their interests becomes more really inspiring the next generation and beyond. It's only when kids experience the wonders of nature firsthand that caring about the natural world becomes more real.
