We are proud to introduce the Mental Wealth Academy. A new project delivered by our dynamic Children and young people's team response of the largest third sector provider of mental health and well being services tailored to young people in Oxfordshire. The Mental Wealth Academy complements our extensive range of programs. Our service helps bridge the gap between child and adult mental health provisions. We provide modern approaches to cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapies. The Academy responds to young people's needs through engaging relatable and impactful practice. Young people can access the service directly themselves or parents carers and professionals can make referrals on their behalf via our website. The Mental Wealth Academy offers the opportunity for 1 to 1 support for 18 to 25 year olds experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges through both digital and face to face sessions, education and training for young ambassadors. We give them the support and tools they need to share their lived mental health experience and help guide their peers and training workshops for parents and carers, increasing their confidence and empowering them as they support young people experiencing mental health challenges. We've seen extremely positive results and received enthusiastic feedback from young people who have been a part of the Academy. The sessions have helped me to feel like I'm in control of my life. Again, speaking to someone really helped me get back on track. I'm feeling so much more confident in myself and my abilities. Our innovative mental Wealth Academy is delivered through a series of partnerships, combining skills, experience and expertise. Together, we are able to provide essential mental health support to more young people across the county.
