This reading comes from co parenting tips and strategies, a guide to raising happy and healthy Children together by Amanda Fireball. Co parenting also comes with its own set of challenges. One of the main challenges is that it requires effective communication and cooperation between the parents. This can be difficult, especially if the parents have different parenting styles or disagree on important issues related to the child. Additionally, co parenting can be emotionally challenging as it can be difficult for parents to navigate their feelings of love and attachment to the child while also maintaining a sense of boundaries and distance from each other. Another challenge of co parenting is that it requires a great deal of flexibility and adaptability. Parents may need to make sacrifices and compromises to make the arrangements work and this can be difficult for some individuals to make sure that the child can spend time with both parents co parenting may also necessitate parents coordinating schedules and transportation. This reading is from coming back stronger, unleashing the hidden power of adversity by Drew Brees with Chris Fabry mom was the reason that. I went to ST Andrew's Episcopal school for 6th, 7th and 8th grade. She wanted me to get a solid education as well as have a great athletic experience. Dad would say why do we have to pay for private school? The public schools just fine. But mom wouldn't budge When I moved into the West Lake District. I didn't know many people. I remember the first set of two days as a freshman. This was Texas five a football. It was Friday night lights. There was a sea of guys, probably 150-200 kids already to play. The coach said, Okay, who wants to be the quarterback? I raised my hand and looked around to see 40 other hands in the air. I thought I am never going to see the field. All these guys have been part of the same program at the two middle schools in the district. They had real game preparation and full contact experience. I've been playing flag football the past three years because our small Christian school didn't have enough players to field a title football team this season hasn't even started yet and I was already at a disadvantage. There was a positive side though, playing flag football had kept me from getting hurt early on. Plus I learned a lot of the fundamentals without wearing pads. Black football is all about throwing, catching and running as opposed to blocking and contact. The movement is very athletic and fluid and it forces you to have a solid grasp of the basics. I ended up as the fourth quarterback of six. My freshman year, the first three went to the freshman A team and the next three went to the freshman B team in effect. I was the starter on the freshman B team. Not bad, but I felt lost in a swarm of players. This reading comes from killing sacred cows, Overcoming the financial myths that are destroying your Prosperity. Written by Garrett Be Gunderson with Stephen Palmer. We find more happiness in relationships than we do in homes and cars and boats. We realize that prosperity is more a state of mind than it is columns of numbers on paper. Our quality of life is closely tied to our level of financial freedom. I define financial freedom as the choice that money will no longer be the primary factor in our decision making processes. This doesn't mean that it's not a factor. It's just not the main factor. This is the point at which we scrub phrases like I can't afford it from our vocabulary. This is where we commit to no longer let our money rule us, but rather to govern our money. According to this definition, every person reading this book can become financially free immediately. What it takes is commitment, not interest, but a committed choice. When we become mentally free. This internal freedom is reflected in our external physical world. Our material wealth becomes a mere reflection of our abundance perspective. Today's reading is from people can't drive you crazy if you don't give them the keys by Dr Mike Bechtle. The thing that makes it traumatic is how we feel about it. That's why two people can be stuck in the same traffic jam and be late to the same appointment. But one person is upset while the other one isn't, the event isn't really the problem. It's our response to the event. Second, it usually involves people when others don't meet our expectations. We experience drama. They cut us off in traffic show up late or spawned to us with sarcasm. If a specific situation bothers us, it probably has something to do with people on a blistering hot day. We blame the utility executives for charging such high rates for electricity to run the air conditioning and then we blame our boss for not giving us a raise so we can adjust our thermostats. Third. It's often unexpected, were caught off guard because we didn't see the event coming. We don't plan for serious illness, the loss of a job or the midnight phone call from the police about our teenager 4th. It's personal, a lot of crazy things happen in the world but not all of them impact us. We're talking here about the ones that directly take us out of our comfort zone. It's one thing to hear about a company president arrested for embezzling retirement funds. It's another when you work for that company and those are your retirement funds. Fifth, it's often exaggerated. This isn't always true, but we often blow up a situation in our minds beyond the reality of the event. When your daughter isn't home. 10 minutes after her curfew, you're a little irritated. A half hour later, you're angry. An hour later, you panic an hour after that, you're terrified in calling the police. When she finally walks through the door, you're wavering between relief and homicide. This reading comes from a collection of thrills short stories written by Elliott Grayson. A sudden rumble of thunder brings Nathan back into the present. Nathan looks again into the darkness. The sound of silence is only disturbed by the rain falling on the roof as he reaches out for the light switch. Nathan hesitantly calls out Beth. There's no response with the lights. Now on the house appears undisturbed to his right. Beth's desk is in order with the usual stacks of file folders and papers neatly arranged on the left corner. Her brown worn leather chair is pushed back from the desk as she always seems to be in a hurry to his left is the dining room which is immediately backed up by the kitchen. Nathan slowly walks through the dining room toward the kitchen trying to make each of his steps quieter than the one before in the kitchen. There are the usual plates and bowls in the sink. From the rush of the morning, a box of fiber, one cereal sits on the adjacent counter beside an empty bowl. Beth's favorite afternoon snack. Then Nathan feels his breathing become more shallow and rapid. He feels his heart begin to beat nearly out of his chest. Nathan sees it a nearly full carton of milk sitting on the counter. Nathan reaches out to feel the carton. It's not cold, the beads of moisture now rest in a ring on the counter. Beth never got to enjoy her favorite snack. She was interrupted, spinning around as if to see some reasonable explanation. Within his view, Nathan looks toward his bedroom. He takes a carving knife from the block and walks toward the bedroom entering the room with some hesitation. He finds the typical unmade bed with an overflowing laundry basket on the floor set to the side of the bathroom door. There is no obvious signs of concern. The bathroom is empty but best house shoes sit on the middle of the floor. Beth never made it back to slip them on as part of her normal routine. Having cleared the downstairs, Nathan turns his attention to the second floor at the bottom of the stairs. Nathan calls out again this time with a little more anxiety in his voice. Beth, it's Nathan, are you there? Nothing. Nathan takes a deep breath and begins climbing the staircase to the second floor. His adrenaline pumping. Nathan wipes the sweat away from his forehead, the water from his rain soaked hair drips back down his face at the top of the stairs. He pauses and takes a deep breath as to prepare himself for what lies ahead to his left is one bedroom and to his right are a couple of bedrooms with a bathroom in between. Nathan looks to his left. The door is open then to his right, the first bedroom door is closed. Nathan turns right, standing in front of the bedroom looking at the closed door. The only thing he hears is the sound of his beating heart. Nathan knows he must open the door as he puts his hand on the door knob, he utters please. God. The bedroom door swings open the room is dark but Nathan can make out a disheveled figure lying on the bed. Nathan drops to his knees and closes his eyes. He doesn't have to open his eyes to know what is lying lifeless on the bed in front of him. He has seen this scene many times and he knows it well, before Nathan can open his eyes, tears begin to run down his face.
