Hi, everyone. I'm Scott Douglas. And this week, on tough tracks, we'd like to announce that kid Roehrig Original Thunder Chicken for the first time in 33 years, has a new owner and will be undergoing a restoration with the hopes of returning to monster truck events in the near future. Kid Rarick debuted the Thunder Chicken in the summer of 1989 on the TNT Monster Truck Challenge and has had a cult following amongst old school monster truck fans and industry veterans alike. Thunder Chicken was retired in 1992 and after a few false starts and surviving floods in a hurricane or two, is finally getting the rebuild treatment fans have been clamoring for for the last 15 years. Chris Moore Mattis was one of those fans hoping to see the truck returned to its former glory. And now that kid has put the truck in his hands. He ensures everyone they will not be disappointed. Another name returning to the spotlight is everyone's favorite monster truck mascot from the eighties Go go gorilla. After 30 years, go go is back and while go Go has signed out to be a part of the team, We may have a little trouble getting him to quit lounging on the job. In addition, be on the lookout for a second monster truck from Chris Moorman is in the near future, but for now, we welcome back the all time classic Thunder Chicken and look forward to its completion.
