Yup, this game, as far as I'm concerned, is a hidden gem on the Game. Cube has fair functions, amazing personality and a story you'll have to uncover. To understand the game is everything you'd want from a story about the haunted mansion, right? And it's way better than that awful Eddie Murphy film. It's a great experience all around, and I hope you'll consider playing it yourself sometime.
