So how can we stay motivated? Here are some tips that might help. Firstly, set clear goals, knowing what you want to achieve is the first step towards motivation. Make sure your goals are specific measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound. Write them down and keep them somewhere visible so that you can remind yourself of what you are working towards. Secondly, find your why, why do you want to achieve your goals? Understanding the reasons behind your actions can help you stay motivated even when the going gets tough. Thirdly break down your goals into smaller tasks, it can be overwhelming to tackle a big task all at once. So break it down into smaller, more manageable tasks and celebrate your accomplishments along the way and use them to fuel to keep you going. Fourthly eliminate distractions, distractions can take you away from your motivation and focus, identify what is distracting you and try to eliminate and or minimize them. Lastly surround yourself with positivity, surround yourself with people who encourage and support you. Listen to motivational podcasts or read inspiring books. Fill your life with positivity to keep your motivations levels high. Remember, motivation is not something that comes out naturally to anyone.
