One notable absence though, the 96 year old monarch was unable to attend due to what Buckingham palace described as mobility issues. The palace says Queen Elizabeth experienced discomfort at thursday's events, which kicked off four days of celebrations. The queen was said to be watching the service on her television at Windsor castle, the Duke and duchess of Sussex also among high profile guests for the service. This marking their first appearance together in Britain since walking away from being senior Royals here at home, fireworks and lights illuminating. Niagara falls thursday night in honor of Queen Elizabeth. Royal watchers in Canada gathering to celebrate the queen's 70 years on the throne, celebrating a fantastic historic moment for the queen 70 years. Unbelievable. I probably would never be another one that would do that. She's done a very, very good job. Platinum jubilee celebrations are set to continue throughout the holiday long weekend in Britain though it's unknown whether Queen Elizabeth will be attending other events for city news. I'm Quentin
