Description

I read this from a blog entitled, \"The First-Timer’s Travel Guide to Manila, Philippines (from a Local)\" - I don't own the blog. I didn't edit this or whatsoever. I can certainly polish this by retaking and editing but I guess it was better if you hear it raw.

It's been over two years since I wrote the first edition off this Manila travel guide. I decided to write it after hearing more than one foreigner described Manila. That's the scariest city they've ever visited. I don't know where they stayed or what happened that made them say that. But it inspired me to write the travel guide that put traveler safety first. I certainly didn't want anyone visiting my home city and having a negative or even a traumatic experience. But the thing is forcing so much on safety inadvertently put my city in a negative light without meaning, toe. I may have made it worse than it actually Waas. Sure, we have our share off doxy scammers and purse snatchers. But don't many destinations around the road have those, too? Surely Manila isn't worse than any other third World country metropolis. I want that series to have fun in Manila, but I realized after sometime that putting so much emphasis on traveler safety wasn't the right approach. It shed light on the negative instead on for housing. The positive expects off my city and Filipinos in general
