This is my original poem. You break the shimmering moonlight shining into the room. I knew you would be back soon. Your hand moves from the cold window but leaves no print. You approach me slowly. But once you appeared to me as a monster with gnashing teeth, I now await your embrace like a lost lover. My beautiful lois. I looked past you at the slowly dimming moonlight growing further and further out of reach as your long flowing hair and loving arms wrap around me with a nice cold but somehow comforting touch. Your hand slips into my chest and gently caresses the empty pit that is formed where something else once lingered. I can no longer remember if it was the emptiness that brought you or you that brought the emptiness. You whisper softly in my ear saying that I'll never love anyone else, even though you are the one who convinced me, I'm incapable of love. I look longingly out the window at the moonlit snow that blankets the ground. There was a time when you can try to convince me that such a lending would be soft and many times I wanted to believe you but now I have no desire to jump. No desire to leave the familiarity of your, embrace, my beautiful loise. I'll always have you.
