tigers are built for hunting there, fast and powerful. They can run at speeds of up to 40 miles an hour. With their powerful back legs, they're able to jump around 10 metres in a single leap. They are ambush predators, which means they wait until a prey animal gets within reach and then run with a burst of speed and pounce. They will hold on to the animal, using their claws on deliver the fatal blow by biting down on the animal's neck. Tigers can take down prey as big as Buffalo.
